Others want to put contemporary events – the #metoo movement, COVID-19, elections, climate change – in a broader context. Scholars, for instance, have traced our current climate change challenges back to the Agricultural Revolution, some 10 000 years ago!
How does it work? We discuss your interests, and we put together a reading list to discuss. Perhaps, your parents or grandparents were involved in one of the World Wars, and you want to understand better the world in which they lived. Here we would help you understand the broader context and narrow our focus to any particular issues you want to explore.
